Alphabet Catch Up.

We are still chugging our way through a letter a week, but Chloe has started rebelling. She doesn’t want to dress in the costumes, and play the games, and do the projects. I think I was just trying to do TOO much. I would be like, “hey lets dress you like a kitty!” and she was like, “NO I DON”T WANT TO BE KITTY!” and then go into the corner and cry. I told myself that if she stopped having fun with this, and it was more like work, than we would slow down. So we have. We do two maybe three activities for each letter, but that’s it. She’s a lot happier, and a lot more cooperative that way.
So, here are H, J, K and L. Sorry for the abbreviated post, but I was never going to get caught up any other way.
Big H, little h, what begins with H?
Hats, harmonica, Hula dancing, and a “Handwhich.”
Big J, little j, what begins with j.
Jester, J Jar, and Jello. (Or at least we tried to make a jester hat. It kept falling apart, so we gave up.)
Big K, little k, what begins with k?
Kissing and kitty. (I also bought a kite, but the weather really sucked and we didn’t get a chance to fly it.)
Big L, little l what begins with l?
little leaves, lion cookies, and a leopard.
