I have been realizing more and more that a lot of my methods for cleaning the house, and even for organizing, go against the popular “green” movement. I am happy to say there are quite a few things that we do already that are greenish. (Mostly thanks to John.) Our washer, dryer and fridge are all the energy efficient kind. We replaced all the windows and doors in our house so that it could be better insulated. We use the right kind of light bulbs…yatta yatta yatta.
But, here is my attempt to make the world a better place, anybody who reads this blog should go here. Read through the list and pick at least one thing you can do help make your life greener. There…changing the world one blogger at a time.

Saturday, Feesh and I caught the matinee showing of Phantom of the Opera on Broadway (yes, I said Broadway) in New York. IT WAS AWESOME! Then we caught up with Matt and Holly in their newish New York apartment (two blocks away, how much does that rock?) we had the BEST sushi I have ever had in my entire life, went to a couple of bars and drank the night (and part of the morning) away. I have to admit, I had several moments of “its soooo cool to live this close to the city” thoughts running through my head. This link takes you to a few pictures, all taken with my phone (aka new toy new toy).

With my sister being in town, I didn’t watch either Idol show until this morning. The only comment I have is I am glad Kristy Lee Cook is gone. Next on my “not a hit” list is Syesha Mercado. This is the second week in a row she was in the bottom three, so there’s hope.

We spent yesterday in Philadelphia with my sister, her boyfriend, and her boyfriend’s brother. See the gallery for more pics of Chloe (I already had pictures of Philly from previous visits.) Oh, and that is indeed a stuffed Benjamin Franklin she is holding. We found him in the gift shop and I just couldn’t resist.

Ellen says, “This is cute now, but not so much when they’re teenagers.”
